Booking rooms for your wedding group

  • Most guests come in high season (May to early July, September to October). Set up a room block or share hotel picks 9 to 12 months ahead, because good rooms go first.
  • Keep guests in one or two areas if you can. Shared shuttles and meeting points get much easier.
  • Guests here mostly need a car or a driver. Staying close to the venue, or booking a wedding-night shuttle, saves a lot of late-night stress.
  • Ask hotels for a group rate with no attrition penalty, a cut-off date about 30 to 60 days before the wedding, and free delivery of welcome bags.
